Chappelli Cycles is Australia’s leading online retailer of fixed gear, single speed and internal hub bicycles. Since launching in 2009 we’ve sold thousands of bicycles to people around Australia and overseas. Our bikes are now available in the UK, Germany and Scandenavia.
Chappelli Cycles’ heritage dates back 50 years to 1960 when Roberto Chappelli, a professional cyclist and engineer with a passion for speed and innovation, designed and handmade his own racing bikes to race in the Tour de France trials in England.
Five decades on Chappelli Cycles, now based in Sydney, is run by Roberto’s son Pablo and his mate Tom. We are passionate about the stripped back simplicity and beauty of single speed and internal hub bicycles and want to see more great looking bicycles on the streets. To that end, we are pursuing Roberto’s vision by designing high quality, great looking bicycles.
We’ve chosen to sell directly to consumers to allow us to interact personally with you and most importantly keep our bicycles affordable. Our bikes are also available through a selected range of bicycle and scooter retailers.
Chappelli bicycles have a unique look and feel, they are designed in Australia with the parts sourced from suppliers in Taiwan and China. We work hard to continue to innovate with new products and better components. Our newest range of 8 speeds and women’s bikes builds on our highly successful and much sought after range of single speeds and 3 speeds.
